The conceptual solution was awarded at the national competition in 2013, whose ultimate goal was to preserve vernacular architecture and encourage young families to stay in the countryside, through various types of grants. The concept of the project is the development of the basic model of the Moravian house with the central fireplace, and preservation of stylistic and functional characteristics and accommodation to the modern use of living space. The house was built in 2019 in the village of Polom, municipality of Gornji Milanovac, as an investor’s wish to preserve the tradition. The gallery shows the competition solution and the project for the construction permit of the built house. There are no major changes from the original project.
